Laura Trest M.Ed., BCBA, LBA

Executive Director

Laura brings a wealth of experience in working with children, adolescents, and teenagers diagnosed with a wide range of disabilities, accumulating over 16 years in the field since 2007. Her extensive expertise spans the delivery of specialized interventions in various settings, including homes, schools, and communities.

Laura's academic qualifications are truly impressive, as she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Master's of Special Education degree, and a graduate-level certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis, all attained from George Mason University. In February of 2015, she achieved certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a testament to her exceptional skills and dedication.

As a professional, Laura has developed a particular interest in Verbal Behavior, language acquisition, and social skills training. Her unwavering commitment to advancing these domains showcases her deep-rooted passion for driving meaningful outcomes and fostering the comprehensive development of the individuals under her care. Laura's dedication and expertise make her an invaluable asset in the field, as she consistently strives to make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of those she serves.

Stacey Taylor MSC/MFCT, BCBA

Clinical Director

Stacey Taylor resides in Snohomish, WA, where she shares a 5-acre property with her husband and children. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Services and Management, a Master's degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy, and a post-graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. Stacey's professional experience encompasses various roles, including working as a psychosocial rehabilitation specialist, an LMFTA, a crisis counselor, and a volunteer for church and active military support and readiness groups.

Over the past five years, Stacey has been an integral part of The Behavior Place, taking on diverse roles such as a Registered Behavior Technician, Qualified Autism Service Provider-Supervisor, Program Manager, and BCBA. Her passion lies in working with families and assisting them in developing effective communication skills while identifying the underlying functions of behavior. These aspects of ABA are particularly meaningful to her.

When she's not engaged in her professional pursuits, Stacey can be found tending to her animals, maintaining her garden and forest, indulging in crocheting, preserving food through canning, cooking, and cherishing quality time with her loved ones.

Daniella Zepeda M.A., BCBA, LBA

Clinical Supervisor

Daniela is a dedicated professional who began her journey in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) back in 2016 as a behavior technician. Her passion for helping individuals with special needs led her to pursue higher education, and in 2020, she successfully earned her Master's degree in Special Education with a focus on ABA from Arizona State University. Driven by her commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those she serves, Daniela continued to advance her career and obtained her LABA (Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst) certification, marking another milestone in her journey. Finally, in September 2022, she achieved her ultimate goal of becoming a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Throughout her impressive 8-year ABA career, Daniela has accumulated extensive experience working with individuals of all ages, ranging from 2 to 30 years old, each with their own unique set of skills and needs. Her diverse expertise and empathetic approach have allowed her to create meaningful connections with her clients and make significant strides in their development. Beyond her professional endeavors, Daniela finds solace in her personal life. She cherishes moments spent with her family, embraces the great outdoors by hiking alongside her loyal dog companion, and constantly seeks out new hobbies to enrich her life and passions.

Korey Cecsarini CBT

My name is Korey Cecsarini, and I hail from the beautiful town of Lake Stevens, Washington. In my spare time, I find great joy in engaging in activities like puzzles and crafts. I also cherish spending quality time with my beloved feline companion. In 2020, I successfully completed my high school education at Insight School of Washington.

Over the past five years, I have dedicated myself to working with children. My journey began with my first job at the Boys and Girls Club, and since then, I have been deeply passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young individuals. One aspect of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) that resonates deeply with me is natural environment teaching. This approach fosters learning through play, which I find immensely rewarding and effective in promoting growth and development in children.

Through his unwavering patience and genuine connection with his young clients, he creates a supportive and nurturing environment where they can thrive.

Baylee Riley RBT, CBT

Baylee is a dedicated and compassionate professional who has been actively involved in working with children since 2012. Her commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of young individuals is evident through her extensive experience in various settings. From volunteering at church to assisting with childcare for her siblings, Baylee has consistently demonstrated her passion for helping children thrive.

While her career aspirations may have evolved over time, Baylee has always held a steadfast determination to contribute to the well-being and development of children. Her extensive experience, combined with her genuine love for working with young minds, has nurtured her understanding of their unique needs and the importance of creating nurturing environments for their growth.

Baylee has pursued her educational journey by earning an associates degree in Arts and Sciences. This academic foundation equips her with a well-rounded perspective and a solid knowledge base to support her endeavors in the field.

Jordan Slate BSW, RBT, CBT

Jordan is an ambitious individual pursuing a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a goal of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). They have a strong passion for making a positive impact on individuals with diverse needs. Originally from California and later moving to Washington, Jordan's relocation opened up new opportunities in the field of ABA.

With three years of experience as a nanny, Jordan developed a love for working with children and a deep desire to make a meaningful difference in their lives. Graduating in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Brandman University, Jordan gained a comprehensive understanding of the social and behavioral sciences, equipping them with essential skills for supporting individuals in need.

Driven by their commitment to excellence, Jordan pursued a Master's program in Applied Behavior Analysis at National University. Completing the coursework, they acquired extensive knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions in the field. Combining their expertise with their empathetic nature, Jordan provides exceptional care and support to individuals benefiting from ABA services.

In October 2022, Jordan joined TBP, a team of passionate professionals dedicated to making a positive impact. With their education and experience, Jordan eagerly contributes to TBP's mission, striving to make a difference in the lives of the individuals and families they serve.

Delita Lozano, RBT
